    Summary:

“It’s the fault of the state that is controlled by private school kids and people who send their kids to and support private schools (in both the executive, legislature and the civil service) not the private schools who propagate the educational divide.”

Such blindingly fantastic logic. Funny that those at Cambridge are just as ready to spout rhetorical nonsense as the Eton kids…

He’s only written one other piece for The Tab and that’s shite as well. He even comments on how out of touch student politicos are which I’m inclined to agree with however he oddly doesn’t count himself as one??? http://cambridgetab.co.uk/opinion/we-demand-the-right-to-party

‘maddeningly incoherent Ian Bone’. He must have been out on the ale with you to make that observation.

Incoherent stuff from Bell. It boils down to an ad hominem rant, and a few lame alliterations. Bone’s a beastly bounder who doesn’t like the MET, doesn’t belong to the Labour Party, and keeps embarrassing toffs. It’s simply got to stop. Doesn’t he know there are respectable channels for this sort of business…?
    Here’s Bell’s article, prior to sub-editing:

“Go home, bolshie Bone, we don’t like your beastly tone.
Now mummy’s frightened on the phone and pater can’t leave her on her own.
It’s all your fault, you filthy beast, I hear you even hate the police?
Look here, it’s really gone too far – I imagine you pissing on daddy’s car.
Why can’t you be a smarmy smarty, safely in the Labour Party?”

Charlie Bell-End also writes for the Guardian.

I’m sure he got that number by shear hard work and not a hint of nepotism or knowing the right people.

I was obviously also offered a very well payed opportunity to write for a national newspaper at the age of 18.

No, wait, I forgot, I lived on a council estate and that never happened.

This is Charlie Bells finest work….. how this right wing loon ended up on a student union body is beyond me but in this piece he argues that students shouldn’t support striking lecturers and then gets slapped around in the comments section by basically everyone!!

“Take your class war home, Mr Bone” also means “we own Cambridge”.

There are loads of working class people in Cambridge who despise the way the colleges and university lord it over them, and who would dearly love to see the university taken down a peg or two.

May Week is the most insulting and shit-eating part of the calendar for many working class people in Cambridge. City centre full of rich drunken arseholes who act as though working class people doing their shopping, hanging out, etc. don’t exist. Rich drunken arseholes wearing extremely expensive, often 1920s-style, clothing for a laugh, often vomiting down it or getting wine spilled on it. Who cares? Look how filthy rich we are, you scumsucking oiks!

Let’s make this a May Week that will never be forgotten.

WE FEW, WE HAPPY FEW. EVERY YEAR WHEN MAY COMES AROUND, THEY WILL REMEMBER! :)

He that shall live this week, and see old age,
Will yearly on the May-week feast his neighbours,
And say ‘To-morrow is The Week of May.’
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars,
And say ‘These wounds I had on the Week of May.’
Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
    But he’ll remember, with advantages,
What feats he did that week.
