Jeanne Berry is to stand as the anti-badger cull candidate in the police commissioner election in Glos. on november 15th. Good luck to her – I’d reccomend the simple ‘CULL FARMERS NOT BADGERS’ as a sure fire winner. There is something especially horrible in the detailed advice to the gun toting young farmers clubs …’make sure you ue natural boundaries such as rivers to ensure none escape the cull’
‘FIRST THEY CAME FOR THE BADGERS………..BUT I WAS NOT A BADGER…………
It’s a real shame one of those illegally detained in the tiny village of Lechlade on the coaches 2003 doesn’t stand. Over a 100 were illegally detained and forced back to London under heavy escort and denied the right to lawfully protest at Fairford. Many of us await the judgement of Judge Mitchell which was supposed to come in after the Olympics had ended. To date no judgement has been made even though originally the case was won in the House of Lords. Gloucestershire Police have with their bastard lawyers fucked around since 2003, not wanting to pay out compensation for their unlawful act against those people who’d travelled from London to lawfully protest against an unjust war. So we who were on the coaches hope that the person standing wrecks any change of the bastard commissioner of Gloucestershire Police from staying in that post.
