RESPECT! Great Banner! Which part of South Yorkshire are the comrades based who’ve made this?
At the time there were people from Donny, Barnsley and Sheffield involved in the SY group (including Mad Mozaz – RIP), but the banner was definitely made by a couple from Barnsley who I’m pretty sure ended up moving to London.
A proper tonic for the troops in these dark days of dross. Who said that?Sean, Red Wedge, or a bloke down the road!
Welcome back, Ian! Glad to have you back!
Imagine one of these in every community, on every estate, in every workplace…
All power to the imagination!
@ldev, that great banner is in Dave Douglas autobiography, Coaldust & Stardust Trilogy; he was at Hatfield Main.
I think some barnsley comades may have had a hand in it, if my memory serves me right.
