I suspect that in future, should the Eton Boys be confronted by some of the youth from our streets, they will not be so lucky.

The rich chaps certainly demonstrate a high degree of ignorance and a well rehearsed sense of “everybody hates us and we don’t care” ; the latter proposition is interesting in that it is often the ultimate call for unity in opposition to decency and humanity. Their wonderful education means that they could probably express this in greek or latin.

How could you offer anything educational, in terms of ‘anarchist explanations’ to an institution that excludes young women- you may as well offer ‘anarchist explanations’ to the KKK or some other twisted bunch of fucking bigots…Eton is a bastion of sexual discrimination, something people here have been overlooking?

Looking at a fair number of the comments left by the Etonians, I somehow sense that underneath the bluster and the occasional bit of defensiveness they’ve exhibited, there’s something else lurking…namely abject bloody fear of the masses. If the Etonians consider the protest to be small beer, why are they on here in their droves trying to justify their privileged position? I thought Etonians – and pupils of other public schools – were encouraged to develop a sense of supreme self confidence that would get them through to the top in life. Reading between the lines I’m starting to see the opposite…a sense of fear from an elite that knows the current system can only keep going by screwing more and more people and that ordinary downtrodden folk are slowly starting to realise this…

Intellectual integrity is entirely orthogonal to choosing to argue with people that you have decided are illogical as evangelicals (despite the fact most of you are entirely ignorant of what anarchism is as an ideology). I’d say making these presumptions without first finding out exactly what you’re trying to argue against isn’t really a hallmark of intellectual integrity rather an example of gross misrepresentation.

I’m an anarchist and I find all this pretty silly…the Etonians are laughing because we’re not a threat yet. Don’t waste your time talking to rich people about inequality. Trust me, it gets you nowhere. Talk to working class people and ignore Eton. They get too much attention and respect in life as it is. And threatening to execute kids, of whatever class, doesn’t get us anywhere. I can understand why you all would be angry, but revolution is not about emotion it’s about rational thinking.
