EDWINA CURRIE KNEW PAEDOPHILE WAS THATCHER’S SECRETARY – ‘IT WAS COMMON KNOWLEDGE AT WESTMINSTER’

Edwina Currie — a junior health minister in the Thatcher government — spelled it out, in black and white, in her diaries which were published in 2002.

‘One appointment in the recent reshuffle,’ she wrote, ‘has attracted a lot of gossip and could be very dangerous: Peter Morrison has become the PM’s PPS [Parliamentary Private Secretary].

‘Now he’s what they call a “noted pederast”, with a liking for young boys. He admitted as much . . . when he became deputy chairman of the party  but added: “However, I’m  very discreet” — and he  must be!’

‘She [Thatcher] either knows and is taking a chance, or doesn’t; either way, it’s a really dumb move. It scares me, as all the Press know, and as we get closer to the election, someone is going to make trouble very close to her indeed.’

  1. I’m no lawyer, but this looks to me like a plain case of ‘aiding and abetting’ and a ‘conspiracy to pervert the course of justice’…Perhaps a parliamentary online petition is in order?

Cameron’s argument will be that the boys were probably sixteen or older.

    • Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m thinking the Tories consistantly opposed lowering the age of consent for gay sex, so back then it would still have been child abuse, but hey, Edwina wasn’t gonna let a little thing like the law of the land stop her party gaining or staying in power, -an ‘accessory both before and after the fact’ I think they call it.

The thing is, this class of people, our social ‘betters’ (I’m sure that’s the way they still see themselves), must have been up to this for centuries. For today’s children’s homes see yesterday’s workhouses and a pool of poor victims to be exploited and abused without any fear of exposure (who’d believe ’em?) or reprisal (though I wonder how many upper class nonces were turned over in a dark alley by their victims?). It seems that this class of people are affronted that their social ‘inferiors’ have more of a voice now (but not much). Interesting that the Establishment backlash against uppity ‘oiks’ has really cranked up in the run-up to the Festival of Deference (Remembrance Sunday), that display of false unity which ‘honours’ the victims – “who did not die in vain” – of that same class’s defence of its own interests. It’s like it’s a bigger ‘crime’ not to wear a poppy than to collude (with silence) in the monstrous crimes of the elite.
