‘A BAMN! is a confrontational act. There is no hierarchy of BAMNS! There is no such thing as an insignificant BAMN!
er….as Incubus pointed out the earlier definition was not a good idea……….no not at all….hence amended definition!

In line with my anarchist convictictions , I made a twat face at a traffic cop yesterday. Course, he didn’t see me, but it still Fuking counts don’t it? BAMNING!
Err, be mindful of self-incrimination, eh Ian?
Bamned if we do and bamned if we don’t: quite frankly, my dear, I don’t give a bamn: lies, bamn lies, and ballistics…wop-bop-a-lu-lap- bamn- bamn bop!
Asked for a pay rise.
Had the Guv’nor doing the beetroot cheek bop with rage…
Could this be the start of a national movement?
Everyone to ask for a rise every Friday at 11:30.?
Keep on BAMNING!!!!
Bob Marley has even written a song about it!
“Ooh, yeah! All right!
I wanna bamn it wid you.
We’re bamnin’ bamin’ ,
And I hope you like bamnin’ too.
Ain’t no rules, ain’t no vow, we can do it anyhow:
I’n’I will see you through,
‘Cos everyday we pay the price with a little sacrifice,
Bamnin’ till the bamn is through”
Once in a while, Ian, you do have that spark of inspiration – spark of anarchy!
I’m liking this… it’s like in Christie Malry’s Own Double Entry, Christie makes himself a set of ‘rules’, and the seventh rule is: 7] Every project is important, however small.
There was some interesting discussion here recently about a new movement and what it might look like, and there were some interesting new ideas coming out of it too. It seems that’s now been forgotten and we’re back to cathartic, hedonistic bollocks like this as a means of scoring some revolutionary street cred with each other.
People often talk about the hard work that’s needed to build a forceful anarchist movement in this country, and it is hard work; you can either do the easy fun stuff like shouting wanker at a cop to give yourself a bit of a buzz for half hour … or you can do the boring hard stuff like getting people talking to each other, organising meetings, delivering newsletters, building up a strong union at work, encouraging people to turn out to a demonstration even though they feel a bit disheartened because the first one didn’t win through etc. etc.
One way will build a movement. The other’s just for the shits and giggles.
I see it as the difference between walking and dancing, between going somewhere with some purpose, and having a great time where you are. Life needs both — they’re complementary, my dear Watson!
Clues in the name By Any Means Neccesary -organised movt and something akin to the ‘Jacquerie’ in France, which was inspired, lacked any organization but were random acts with a common goal. It created fear and trauma amongst the aristocracy
nice one Greg – ‘random acts with a common goal’
Are we part of the 28%? See this Yougov poll it’s BAMNTASTIC!-
“To what extent do you agree or disagree with the
-Violent conflict between different economic
classes in Britain is largely inevitable
-Violent conflict between the rich and the poor in
Britain is largely inevitable…”
Let’s get those numbers up people! Higher, HIGHER!
