Gillie Bolton, flood warden on Ham Island, Old Windsor, said: “Our flooding is being exacerbated by the Jubilee River and we are being sacrificed to keep maidenhead and Eton high and dry. I think all the islanders agree with that.”
The Jubilee river was built to save Windsor and Eton from flooding but has exacerbated flooding in Wraysbury and elsewhere.

I think this is rather silly
Residents were saying the same on the news last night, that the Jubilee river had caused all the problems
Ridiculous comment – when Gillie Bolton refers to Maidenhead, Windsor and Eton she is referring to geographical areas and the conurbations within those areas, not a school!
