‘ON BLACKHEATH’ PR IS OFFENDED BY ‘MARKETING WHORE’ COMMENT

Hi there

I am sure you have seen the activity on your comments section of a recent post about On Blackheath. I wanted to get in touch with you following a rather abusive comment made towards myself and my business. I find it quite appalling and I am quite offended and shocked at the language used and hoped with grace you will manage this accordingly as this could not only be damaging but also detriment to my dedication to clients on a local level.

  1. ‘Offended’? There are people only a couple of miles down the road from where this yuppie foodie fest is taking place who are having to rely on food banks to survive as those at the bottom suffer the consequences of austerity – now that in my view is really f****** offensive! Britton’s comment is typical of those who haven’t got a sodding clue about the brutal reality of what’s being done in the name of austerity to the growing ranks of the poor and the marginalised… What Britton and her ilk can’t get their heads around is how angry people get when they see the level of smug, self satisified indulgence from the well heeled types who’ll be at On Blackheath while they are wondering how the f*** they’ll be able to afford the next meal…

I presume the communication from the Andrea creature is not a joke. I wasn’t sure to begin with but I will bet her ‘sense of humour’ is perhaps limited. It certainly would not extend to realising how unintentionally funny she is. And is ‘manage this accordingly’ the new dimwit soft PR speak for ‘BAN IT NOW, WE DON’T LIKE IT!’ Did they have PR in the old Soviet Union? Some people are more shocked by the english language than they are in favour of free speech. Yuk!

This is piss poor writing for a professional “communicator”.

    • nona anon

Read her blog post where she uses her communication skills to try and “…pacify disgruntled locals”. and where she tells “…the folk that are worried about the excess rubbish, don’t see it as admitting defeat, adorn the wellies…”, she then provides a helpful link for these ‘folk’ to buy a litter picker with which they can help clean up her mess.

    PRESS RELEASE for immediate use.
RE: Andrea Britton’s hissy fit on Ian Bones blog.

The not rich of South London would like to sincerely communicate:

    * Her lack of consideration that a community includes people not like her betrays a privileged arrogance.

    * Her description of “a huge vacant public common with nothing on it” betrays a bent to see only profit where others play.

    * Her self lauded “dedication” is for sale.

ACTION: We recommend she goes fuck herself.

  7. INCUBUS

Here is a terrific opportunity to ask Blackheath businesses to make charitable contributions to their local Food banks-

Or you can check-in with Andrea’s Twit-feed and buy some comfy ethical vegan footwear to wear on the day! Yumz!!!

…and Andrea’s company, ‘Onlinepruk’ is doing its level best to boost property prices through branding and improving Blackheaths image, which is, according to her ‘long overdue’- all this despite the OPPOSITION of ‘disgruntled locals’ who need to be ‘pacified’ through the alleged statistically-based ‘economic benefits’ -y’know, all those corporate-sponsored beer tents, the IT companies providing free Wifi on the day, Wholefood companies desparate to local unemployed youth (providing they are called ‘Ellie’ and ‘Josh’)…never mind the cost of clearing up the piss and litter falling to local people, rather than being spent on essential social services- but hey, skint pensioners and the working poor don’t fit the demographic, and are frankly a poor investment, and de-value the local bijou Victorian terraced housing stock…

So come on! Have some sympathy for the woman, she’s worked her arse off on this for years and years, it’s a serious investment after all- Ian, have a heart won’t you? Get managing man!

    • PR I*K

Yeah give a poor PR pimp a break Ian. Her site assures us she is “incredibly passionate” and “110 % committed”. How can this type of hollow cliche be taken seriously? It begs contempt.

She doesn’t seem to be publishing my comments on her Blackheath post. Shrewd message management from an expert! Who cares, her 110% of passion seems pretty unappreciated going by her comment count.

  8. Salmonella

Statistically food at festivals possess a markedly higher percentage of ecoli and listeria bacteria than other food sources. When ingested, these invariably result in Massive Attacks of vomitting, nausea and diarrhea.

  9. Offended from South London

    Dear Andrea Britton,
Take your crappy chipolatas and lickspittle lattes and f*ck off to the playing fields of Eton.
    Regards,
    Offended from South London.
