OWEN JONES – MORE HOOVER THAN MEGAPHONE

‘The left must act as a megaphone for the otherwise ignored, the shelf stacker, the nurse, the young black man’
OJ

Well I’ve not seen any of these on telly lately but I have seen OJ more often than Dan Snow – which is very often. OJ sees no problem with himself hoovering up every media opportunity which otherwise might have afforded a debut opportunity for the shelf stacker……his Oxford contacts being a weeny bit helpful no doubt. So in the total absence of the stackers OJ must think that it is HE HMSELF who is their megaphone, it is he who is the megaphone for the nurse and the black man.

So how does this work in practice. OJ was one of those complaining to the BBC that they had not covered the PA march sufficiently. So he organised a campaign on his twitter feed to get he BBC to account for this. Two days later OJ – for it is he – is on the right to reply programme arguing the case.

OJ did it not occur to you that somewhere among the thousands who joined your twitter campaign there might be a shelf stacker, nurse or young black man who could speak?

CLASS WAR……OF THE CLASS, BY THE CLASS, FOR THE CLASS

No no, you’ve got it all wrong Ian. OJ could provide a Nurse, Shelf Stacker or a Young Black Man a chance to shout but that would get in the way of his slippery ascent up the pole of power. Just think about it, he could be PM one day and we’ll be saved!

    Gawd bless im.

  2. Look out, Blairs about

“I will be a voice for the voiceless, the spokesperson for the dispossessed” – (Lord) Neil Kinnock on elevating to the House of Lords. Yeah, well…..

Owen “I’m the Story” is a whiney git who now thinks the world turns on his “voice of the sensible left” hyper act. Big mistake.

But such people aren’t able to talk for themselves (no silver spoon). They need someone to look after them and say what they should be saying for them.
You see, to quote a ‘socialist’ of my aquaintance – the poor are too stupid and need people to govern them for their own good.

‘The shelf stacker and the young black man?’ It sounds more like an eighties porno than a political manifesto. What next, Nicky Crane for threesome?

When he says “young black man”, he means people like Chuka Umunna yeah? I thought so.
