My first thoughts on hearing that Boris Johnson was hoping to stand again as an MP and thereby becoming PM was great- another Ian Duncan Smith disaster for the Tories. I assumed that Londoners voted him in rather than having a more grey mayor (even if slightly more likeable) such as Stephen Norris. I assumed that nationally this wouldn’t quite be replicated.

But Wright paints another picture here that is probably far more accurate- the bumbling fool act is indeed a put on to hide a fairly nasty piece of work. But should we be surprised that the rat race breeds rats?

My second thought is that this twit sounds like he has his mouth full of marbles and if there is any prospect of him being PM it might sway the vote in Glasgow to YES! Here’s hoping anyway.
Keep it coming please Martin!! Very thought provoking as usual.
