Last week Firebox was locked and empty, with a bailiff’s notice pinned to the door, threatening criminal proceedings against anyone who re-enters, and what looked like £1,000’s worth of books, decorations, furniture and utensils scattered over the floor of this by-now clearly defunct enterprise.

Profiting by selling the burned remains of tortured animals comes with some bad karma. My advice to the Toxic Twins? You’ve been torturing people and other sentient beings for too long. Go vegan. You might even lose some weight and start to look human. Miracles happen.
Alternatively, put the rest of us out our misery by killing yourselves.

I walked past that place a few times, it only had the odd Guardian reader in there sipping coffee. None of the local people from some great estates around it ever went there, kinda sums up their politics so close to the working class but so far
